What kind of plants are these?

I am new to gardening and have just got my hands on a few pots with plants already in them. I don't know what they are and need help in identifying them. Could some one help me out, thanks.
There appear to be two types of plants in the picture about and just one below.

Last Saturday I went on a fishing trip to Boulder Mtn. area in Southern Utah. My first time float tubing I pulled this beautiful colorado cutthroat out of Blind Lake.

We hiked just a little further to Fish Creek Lake and caught my first Tiger Trout. The spot pattern doesn't really show up very well in this pic but I assure you it is a tiger.

Next, located in Wayne County, Utah; in between Fish Lake and Johnson Valley Reservoir, is a small creek called Lake Creek. I was fishing it the other day (6-26-10) and caught a small fish. I couldn't identify what kind of fish it was then or since. Could someone please help me out in identifying it? Thanks.

Deer Creek Reservoir Ice Fishing (2-6-10)

(Below) Aaron was the first one out of the priests to catch something. It was a rainbow caught at 9:30.

Old skate footie

My cousin Dave did all the editing of the clip. It is mostly old footie except near the end, that was filmed this last sumer. It isn't much, mostly just having fun.

Deer Creek Reservoir (1-16-10)

Fog covered Deer Creek Reservoir in the morning.

To be honest the fishing was slow; however, we found that using mill worms and powerbait attractant seemed to work the best. The depth was about 15-25 ft deep. I was fishing about 5-8 ft off the bottom. I didn't have to jig at all, I just waited to see a good strike before setting the hook.

All these fish were caught in the evening using a pheasant tail nymph.

We got to our campsite just a the sun set. As we were setting up our tent. We heard something moving around not even 15 feet from were we were. We took a picture and found that it was a deer, which eased our minds.
We camped at Wilder Lake. This was bringing one in.

Our friendly deer caught up with us the next mourning.

Below is a rudementry shelter my brother and I had to build a few years ago because we were caught in a snow storm, away from our camp, in the middle of July.
